Description

The BC Parks Foundation is the official charitable partner and conservation financing mechanism to one of the largest systems of parks in the world, with over 1,040 parks and more than 26 million visits per year. Our motivated team has produced outstanding results, including raising over $400 million in the last 4 years, protecting over 55 beautiful places, and launching an internationally recognized health initiative. Role Summary
BC Parks Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who combines analytical thinking with creative execution. You'll work alongside our marketing team to develop and implement strategies that connect people with nature and advance our mission to create the greatest system of parks and Indigenous protected areas in the world.

 


Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels
  • Create and manage engaging campaigns and content that amplifies our brand voice and mission
  • Provide cross-functional support to marketing and communications initiatives including events, content creation, and agency coordination
  • Act as project coordinator for various departmental initiatives, ensuring efficient execution and delivery
  • Maintain our digital presence through website updates and social media management
  • Collaborate with the retail team to support the creation and organization of digital and creative assets for our online store
  • Assist in planning and executing retail pop-up booth events, coordinating logistics, and supporting promotional strategies to drive awareness and retail sales
  • Track campaign performance and provide data-driven insights for reports and optimization
  • Assist with budget management and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure aligned marketing efforts

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, social media platforms)
  • Experience with content management systems and basic SEO principles
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and metrics
  • Experience with marketing automation tools
  • Understanding of marketing strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

 

 

Skills and experience considered an asset:

  • Videography, photography, or basic design skills considered an asset
  • Fluency in a second language
