Position Title: Physiotherapist
Status: Full-Time
Reports to: Clinic Manager
Hourly Range: Splits range window $60 to $75
Location: North Vancouver,Langley and/or Surrey Clinics
Are you a Physiotherapist with a passion or interest in working with patients with mTBI (mild traumatic brain injury) / concussions?
Are you skilled at coming up with creative exercise plans to help clients improve their balance and return to their functional goals?

We are looking to grow of Physiotherapy team, hiring new grads and experienced PTs to support the rehabilitation process and helping those affected by (mainly) concussion and vestibular disorders.
As a Physiotherapist with iScope you will be provided with specialized training in concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation to provide evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation services, client education, and balance and mobility training, primarily for clients with concussion/vestibular disorders.
The Physiotherapist will work in a supportive, collaborative team that includes Neurologists, Neuro-Optometrists, Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Counselors, Kinesiologists, Vision Therapists and Case Managers.

ROLE SUMMARY
As a Physiotherapist with iScope, you will work closely with our specialist physicians and healthcare practitioners in coordinating and assisting in various aspects of clinical operations and practices. You will provide direct support to our patients and be responsible for following up on all physician recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with concussions and pain conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Monitor and document patients' progress.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based techniques.
- Provide case management support to clients requiring the coordination of multiple services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and advancements in concussion management and pain rehabilitation, and integrate this knowledge into clinical practice.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and providing respectful, patient-centered care.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Member in good standing and professional membership with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to patients in collaboration with other team members.
- Motivated in professional growth and learning.
- Efficient in time management with strong organizational skills
- Vestibular or concussion background an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and competency in maintaining confidentiality of client information according to FIPPA and PHIPA legislation.
- Respond to new client inquiries in a timely manner and provide an overall excellent level of customer service.
- Strong knowledge of community resources
- Demonstrated ability to relate to clients in ways that build confidence and trust
- Able to work in a highly diverse community with individuals from varied backgrounds
- Good judgment, sensitivity, flexibility, discretion, and resourcefulness
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and senior administrators about issues facing individuals in crisis and make recommendations.
