Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a private practice health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices and medical terminology relevant to the field.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology related to physiotherapy and patient care.
• Experience working in a hospital or acute care environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy practices is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in patient assessments and treatment plans.
• Compassionate approach towards patient care, ensuring a supportive environment for recovery.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

• License to practice Physiotherapy in BC? (required)
