Description

e-Visa Immigration is a Canadian company born from the desire to help people from all over the world to study, work, visit or immigrate to Canada, temporarily or permanently.

You will perform the duties and responsibilities which are customary to this
position and reasonably necessary to fulfill the business objectives:

  • Answer the telephone, respond to in-person or electronic enquiries from clients, or forward them to the appropriate person
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
  • Send and receive messages and documents using electronic email or a fax machine.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, statements, forms, presentations, applications and other documents
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, order supplies as required and arrange for servicing of office equipment
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record minutes
  • Assist with administrative procedures such as document submissions, contracts administration and work schedules
  • May sort, process and verify receipts, expenditures, forms and other documents
  • Perform some routine executive assistant duties such as managing the executives' agenda, booking air tickets/accommodations, ordering catering or meals, and hosting clients.
  • Maintain office housekeeping such as monitoring coffee machine levels, ensuring kitchen and dishes cleanliness, and ordering related supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the immigration consulting practice, if needed.
  • May assist in arranging travel and accommodation for attendance of conferences or trips between offices.
  • May support organizing external/internal meetings or events (e.g., sending invitations, setting rooms, ordering catering, etc.).

You have the following soft skills and other requirements:

  • Degree or work experience in Business Administration or Sales.
  • Active and interesting personal presence in social networks, with an understanding of each network and its best practices.
  • Be an excellent communicator and creative.
  • Live in the Metro Vancouver region with the means to commute to the office.
  • Work physically from our office on a daily basis and during business hours.
  • Be available for immediate start.

You will earn extra points for:

  • Getting to know Canada (having an exchange or living in the country).
  • Having professional experience in immigration and exchange to Canada.

You speak the languages below:

  • English - Advanced
  • Portuguese - Fluent
  • Spanish - Is an asset

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
