We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who is highly experienced with Content Creation and can elevate our digital marketing initiatives. You will play a crucial role in creating high quality original content for various platforms. Precision to detail is extremely important - the content you create and share represents the entire company.

To be successful in this role, you should possess experience with various social media platforms and be comfortable with the organic, paid, and technical aspects of operating on these platforms – from a business perspective. You are an expert when it comes to Instagram and Facebook! This position will involve engaging with a wide array of affiliates including influencers, industry partners, corporate and store team members.

You will be comfortable in front of and behind the camera, filming products and lifestyle content. The ideal candidate will have culinary experience and possess knife skill as it makes it that much easier to create content. If you don’t have knife skills, now’s the time to start!

  • Strategy - Plan and execute social media campaigns, including the social media Calendar.
  • Content - Create high quality, unique, and engaging content that can be used across various platforms. You are the content creator and curator for the company!
  • Video - Optimize existing and new content through video creation and editing.
  • Community - Building and maintaining a strong online presence by engaging with customers, customer groups and influencers. Create new relationships and maintain existing ones.
  • Monitor - Tracking the company’s brand on all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Tik Tok, Linkedin, Google, etc)
  • Reporting - Providing analytical insight to other departments.
  • Technical Maintenance - Maintaining and optimizing all social media accounts back end.
  • Paid Media – Manage paid media strategy and execution with internal and external partners. (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads, Rakuten, Amazon Ads, Tik Tok, etc..)
  • Email Marketing – Working with the E-Commerce Coordinator to assemble and optimize email marketing initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior Expereience as a Social Media Manager (5 years +)
  • Prior Digital Marketing Experience (7 years +)
  • Affiliate/Influencer marketing and management (5 years +)
  • Expert knowledge of Meta suite, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Business
  • Video and Photo editing experience for social media (3 years +)
  • Social media planning software experience (2 years +)
  • Copywriting - Excellent command of written and verbal communication in English

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in managing paid advertising campaigns (2 years +)
  • Tik Tok for business (1 year +)
  • Culinary and Sporting Knife Experience

Some platforms you should be familiar with include Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest, and X.

This position is Hybrid/Remote Based within Greater Vancouver - on average 1 day per week will be in the warehouse or a store location for content creation or meetings.
