Organizational Status:
We are currently looking forward to welcoming a Part Time/Full Time, Virtual Assistant. You will be part of our fantastic team and report directly to the General Manager and Continuing Professional Education Manager . You’ll be part of a team of experienced and passionate people who believe in a higher education and work hard behind the scenes to help its students thrive in Canada. You will be helping the students to understand the nature, scope, requirement, and purpose of the course.
Job responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calls to potential students who have shown interest in our programs.
- Effectively communicate the benefits and features of our educational programs to prospective students.
- Manage a high volume of calls in a timely and efficient manner.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Address any inquiries and concerns from prospective students regarding program details, admission criteria, financial aid options, etc.
- Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of interactions and student recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a seamless enrollment process for accepted students.
- Assists in analyzing and offer recommendations on the managerial strategies for attracting more potential students.
- Perform routine clerical duties to support the office team.
- Giving advice and assistance to companies regarding regulatory policies and practices, ensuring internal adherence to regulations, and preparing submissions and filings with regulatory agencies.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends, available merchandise, and new products that the company will offer to clients and customers
- Pre-screening sales leads and sharing information with a member of the sales team for follow-up.
Supervision Received
Works independently and in collaboration with the General Manager and Continuing Professional Education Manager. The performance is evaluated for efficiency, effectiveness, achievement of objectives, and quality of work.
Supervision Given
None, but training might be provided to new hires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in outbound sales or customer service, preferably in an educational institution or related field.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies, with the ability to effectively persuade and influence others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
